SAMUEL GRUEN

Sam Gruen is a dependable and motivated team member at the CFO Squad. He has excellent interpersonal skills and is efficient with the work he performs. Sam assists the team with the monthly/quarterly close processes and prepares clients’ financial records in preparation for their reviews and audits.

Before joining the CFO Squad, Sam was a staff auditor at Loeb and Troper where he performed financial statement audits on healthcare and non-profit organizations. His collaborative teamwork ensured that audits were effective and efficient. Sam prepared analyses of balance sheets and income statement accounts, financial statements in accordance with GAAP, as well as 990 and CHAR500 Governmental Information Returns. Prior to his work at Loeb and Troper, Sam was employed at Apex-Ventures LLC as a junior accountant. He managed the company’s finances, including bank and credit card reconciliations, and used QuickBooks to update and maintain an accurate bookkeeping system.
